The SERU (Safety, Equality and Regulatory Understanding) assessment is a mandatory test required by Transport for London (TfL) for all private hire vehicle (PHV) drivers. It covers road safety, equality and disability awareness, and understanding of licensing regulations. You must pass to obtain or renew your PHV licence.
How many questions are on the real SERU test?
The real SERU assessment consists of 37 multiple-choice questions. You have 45 minutes to complete it. You need to score at least 60% (23 out of 37 correct) to pass.
